How to Install Audi A4 B7 Car Stereo with Bluetooth?
Materials Needed:
1, Torx driver
2, the radio removal keys
3, Bluetooth adapter
4, towels
Step 1 - Remove the Audi A4 B7 car radio
Audi uses a special button system that releases the tab that holds the radio in place. Each button can be placed in a slot on the radio surface - just slide it in until you hear a click. Once the keys are secure, grab them and start pulling the radio components out. About half of the radio, put a towel on the center console, so as to avoid any accidental scratches. Then pull the remaining radio out.
Step 2 - Disconnect the accessory connector
After the radio is output, first find the antenna connector. The connector is a bit fragile, so be sure to carefully press down on the release tab and unplug the antenna wires. Then find the blue accessory connector and remove it from the main unit.
Step 3 - Connecting the Adapter
The adapter should have two connectors. Select the port that fits the accessory connector port and clip it into place. Remove the ground wire from the harness and install it under the screw shown in the illustration.
Step 4 - Pairing the Adapter
Those of you familiar with the Bluetooth function on your phone can easily do this.
1) Go to Settings and find the Bluetooth button.
2) Press the CD changer button connected to the external CD changer light source.
3) Press Scan and find the adapter name.
4) Pair with the adapter.
5) Test system.
Step 5 - Install the Audi A4 B7 car stereo
Once you know that the system is working properly, take the head unit and reinstall it into the center console.
